Chiene + Tait is an independent firm of chartered accountants and business advisors.
We are proud of our independence, and it permeates everything we do: we offer a partner-led service; and we are able to personalise and tailor our services for each client with whom we work. We pride ourselves on forming excellent working relationships with our staff, our alumni and our clients. At Chiene + Tait we treat you as an individual, not a number.
Why join us?
Join Chiene + Tait and you’ll experience new and exciting challenges, using your skills and knowledge in different ways.
We offer wide-ranging work, a diverse client base and the opportunity to build your skills while delivering best-in-class service. We deliver highly-challenging and interesting technical work coupled with the ‘get-involved’ culture of a smaller firm. We all pitch in to make sure the best job gets done and the client receives the best possible service.
We are small enough for boundaries between departments to be blurred, so that staff work on (and gain experience of) many different projects; our cross-department sector groups also mean that our people work directly with colleagues from across the firm.
Where you can join
We have three distinct departments:
- Audit and Annual Accounts
- Business Support (including Payroll)

What do you want to do at work?
There is no pigeon-holing here: our team are given as much responsibility as they want, and we don’t restrict people who want to do more. For example, team-members can join our sector groups – cross-departmental working groups who specialise in sectors such as Property, Private Clients, Entrepreneurialism, Charities and more – to broaden their experience of working with other teams and deepen their specialist knowledge.
Where do you want to go?
We’re always on the lookout for the partners of the future. Our culture is to promote from within when we can: join us and we can promise that you’ll use your talents, increase your skills and enjoy working for a firm known for its high-quality technical work.
